  1. Susan, thank you so much for such a generous tutorial. I think there is a real need or it. I have never done any milling and as a complete newbie, I think I could jump right in and do it. You seem to have anticipated any problems and included possible solutions. This is well written, with great relevant photos. I wish you the best of luck in all your future tutorial endeavors, but if this is any indication of the quality of forth coming tutes then you don't need any luck :)

  2. Susan, Congratulations on your new blog and your first tutorial! The tutorial is outstanding. It is very well written with step by step instructions from opening the package on to the finished piece. The photographs are outstanding. I am amazed by the delicacy of the items you have milled from a feather to a cicada wing. Reading the tutorial led me to believe this is something I would like to do and got very excited. I plan to start saving for a mill as I doubt Santa will be bringing one this year. Thank you for providing this tutorial for free. I look forward to following your blog!

  3. Tela, why don't the two of you come over to my house and dig into my pile of copper sheet and go at it with my rolling mill. Now that would be a delightful experience, wouldn't it?!! Thank you both for your kind comments on the tutorial. Christine, I do hope that you will get your rolling mill very soon.
